It's review day!!!! That means that I got a chance to spend some quality time with a new toy. My new friend of the month is the Gyro G, a g-spot vibrator, by Pleasure Works. Here's a picture!
Isn't she pretty? I haven't named her yet but I eventually will, just give me some time.
I ended up buying a Groupon for my favorite Bay Area adult store, Good Vibrations, so I felt like a little kid at a candy store once I had some time to do some adult shopping. I wanted to get some quality toys, but I also wanted to buy more than one, which is kind of hard to do at times because the super high quality toys (which also tend to be the rechargeable ones) have a tendency to cost an arm and a leg, and sometimes a boob and your ovaries. Fortunately, this particular toy only cost $25, so I made another purchase for a toy I will be reviewing next month.
Every time I buy a new toy I feel like I need to rush home and take it out for a test drive... in my vagina; this toy was no different. I washed it first (because it's important to be sanitary with things that will be in or around your womanhood), inserted the batteries, added a bit of lube to the toy, undressed, and then went to town. At first I was inserting the toy straight in and too deep. The sensation I was feeling was pleasurable, but that's also because I enjoy a bit of pain when there's pressure against my cervix (yes, size does matter to me). But then I proceeded to insert the toy with more shallow thrusts and at a bit of an angle; this made the world of difference in terms of G-spot stimulation. Within minutes I was experiencing a fairly intense orgasm that involved absolutely no clitoral stimulation. I even think that I might have been close to making myself squirt a couple of times, but that might have just been the different feeling in terms of stimulation in comparison to my normal masturbation method of clitoral stimulation.
The Stats:
The Gyro G is 5 1/4" long and 5/8" wide.
It requires two double A batteries, which are not included (at this point, I have quite a few rechargeable batteries).
It is made of ABS (acrylonitile butadiene styrene) plastic, which is a hard, non-porous material which makes it easy to clean with just a simple, mild, antibacterial soap and warm water.
The tip of the toy is tapered and angled for maximum g-spot stimulation.
There are about two to three intensity settings which are controlled with a dial at the bottom of the toy. The only reason I'm not sure with the number if intensity settings is because it's easy to miss the middle setting with the dial.
There is more girth in the middle of the toy which allows a much fuller feeling while using the toy (that full feeling is really, really nice... just my own observation).
The motor is very silent (especially when compared to the Hitachi Magic Wand).
And it's velvety to the touch.
Pros:
Intense little motor.
The tapered, angled tip allows for maximum G-spot stimulation.
The girth in the middle adds to your orgasm experience.
Simple to use.
Simple to clean.
And most importantly, it's INEXPENSIVE!!!
Cons:
The center girth can potentially be uncomfortable to some women with tighter vaginas.
THAT'S IT!
There really are no "cons" that I could think of to write up. Due to that, and my wonderful orgasms since purchasing this toy, and the extremely affordable price, the Gyro G gets a giant "DilDo" from me.
Before I sign off, though, I would like to make sure to note that this is not a good toy for anal play due to the lack of a tapered end. Never, ever, EVER insert anything into your bum that can potentially get sucked up and lost in there.
Until next time, stay excited!

I'M BACK!
I’ve been away for soooooooo long, and I’m sorry about that. No, seriously, I really am. I feel like a part of me is dead when I don’t post, so time to revive that part of me that has been dead for the past several months.
Why have I not written in such a long time? Well, here’s a short list of a few reasons why:
- Writing a weekly update on the blog got to be a little too time consuming.
- I started spending more time taking care of my own needs (no, not just masturbating needs).
- I re-entered the world of dating, which is actually a bit time consuming.
- Reviewing toys got quite expensive.
- I was organizing my friend’s bachelorette party and prepping for her wedding, meaning that my toy budget was super tight (see reason 4).
There are other reasons, but I think that you get the picture. Well, today I just want to briefly post about how the blog will be changing before I post my toy review next week.
Change #1: I will no longer be posting on a weekly basis. I will guarantee a once a month post where I’m reviewing a toy, first Wednesday of the month, but some weeks will probably a lot busier than others (like when I’m working overtime at my day job).
Change #2: I will be making an effort to get some guest writers on here. The more guest writers I get the more posts you’ll see.
Change #3: Every few months I’ll switch up a toy review with a book review. Don’t worry, it will be a sex related book that will either educate or titillate.
I know, change is scary, but believe me when I say that change is good for my sanity.
So here's to looking forward to all the future posts!!!! Until next week, where I'll be reviewing the Hitachi Magic Wand, stay excited!

My mom and the blog
I was going to post about anal sex today but a conversation
I was having last night made me decided to leave that for next week and write
about telling my mom about this blog. Whenever I go and visit my mom, I
sometimes bring up the topic of sex, not because I want to make her squirm, but
because I feel like this is a challenge for me. I have never been comfortable
talking to my mom about sex, particularly because when she found out I wasn’t a
virgin she started to cry. Needless to say that I was heartbroken and
exceedingly annoyed by her reaction, which resulted in me never wanting to talk
to my mom about sex, until I started the blog.
I have been trying to be as open as I can about the blog, including with my family. My mom, who is the most important member in my family, along with my grandma and aunt, is aware that I have a blog that revolves around sex, but she doesn’t know how personal I get with my
blog posts.
This past December, when I was visiting my mother in Los Angeles, I told her that I was going out to go watch a comedy show. What I failed to mention was that this comedy show was at the Pleasure Chest, an adult toy store, and that I was planning on purchasing a few items while I was there. When I got back from being out, I showed my mother what I purchased; a mini padlocked chest and Smartballs by Fun Factory (which will be reviewed next month). I began explaining to my mom that I was going to begin writing a blog. Well, first I had to explain what a blog is and how everyone would be able to read the content of my blog. The next step, which was a bit harder, was explaining what the actual content would be. As I began to explain that I would be reviewing adult toys, I could see my mom’s scowl just getting scarier. When I finished, she just looked at me in disgust. I have to admit that I felt a little heart broken, but mainly because I didn’t know that my mom would object so much to my use of toys. That’s right; her reason for not being pleased about the blog wasn’t necessarily that I was going to be writing reviews about these toys, but that I was masturbating and using toys. At that point I sat my mom down for a little talk about modern day women’s health and sexuality.
Explaining to my mother that masturbation is healthy is tricky, particularly because she’s a traditional Central-American female that was raised Baptist. I tried to make her relate to any sexual urges she might have had, or might still have, but I think that my mom is now asexual. This woman would just not budge. All she kept saying was that masturbation was disgusting and a lady should not do that; I might or might not have let out a burst of laughter after she said that. This is the woman that makes an entire room laugh with her dirty jokes. A woman whose humor is so crude that if you were to hear some of her jokes you would understand where I get it from, I’m sure that my cousins who read this can attest to that. Well, when trying to have a serious conversation with one’s mother it’s probably not good to laugh at some of the stuff they say. Either way, I digress. I tried to help my mom accept that masturbation was healthy, so I put things for her the following way; would she rather I sleep around with various men until I am sexually satisfied OR just masturbate and reach that sexual satisfaction without any worries of a condom breaking, potentially contracting STDs, or even worse, becoming pregnant. As badly as my mother wants grandbabies, she finally conceded, BUT that didn’t mean that she was happy that I was writing about this. I decided to just leave it at that, for the time being, but my pursuit to change her mind about sex has only just begun.
Until next time, stay excited!

The Doc Johnson I-Vibe Rabbit aka My First Vibrator!
Thirty seconds. That’s about how long it took me to climax the
first time I used my first vibrator, the Doc Johnson I-Vibe Rabbit. Ever since
then I was a believer in the power of the Rabbit. When my friends bought it for
me, they joked that I would never come out of my room. Now, as much as I loved
my new toy, I was also a fan of the intimacy of sex with other human beings, so
I eventually emerged from my cave, I mean room.
The full story of my first toy is a bit unclear, mainly
because of the amount of alcohol that was consumed that night. I was a fourth
year college student and my friends and I were out in West Hollywood doing some
dancing. That might have been the night when my friends and I may or may not
have gotten kicked out of the club for letting our twenty-year-old friend take
a sip of one of our drinks, but I digress. As we were walking around town we
stepped into an adult toy store. My friends have always known what a sexual
person I am, so I’m quite sure that they were flabbergasted that I didn’t own
any toys. To be quite honest, I was also quite surprised; but then again, I was
a broke college student. We were walking around the store and looking at all
the toys when suddenly, like a heavenly ray of light, I saw the I-Vibe from
across the room. Like two people locking eyes across a crowded party, I
approached the vibrator; it was love at first sight. I picked up the Grape
I-Vibe and studied it, in awe of its marvelous design, until I saw the price.
This bad boy was a hundred a bucks! Needless to say, I didn’t buy it, but I
guess my friends noticed my disappointment and asked me if I wanted it. Not
knowing that their intention was to purchase it for me, I’m pretty sure I told
them that “Hell yes I want it!” Suddenly, two of my friends were buying it for
me! After all of the money transactions were completed, my friends handed me
the newly purchased treasure. I immediately gave them a million hugs, and
thanked them about the same number of times. Then, out of nowhere, another
friend suggested we go to the grocery store a block away to get me some
necessary accessories. I don’t know what I did to deserve such amazing gifts, and
especially such amazing friends, but off we went to go purchase some batteries
and lube. Again, hugs and thanks were generously given as I was handed the bag. I reached into the bag, pulled out the
batteries, and proceeded to open them so that I could see the I-Vibe in all its
glory. As soon as I turned it on, all of the girls in the group got giddy as we
felt the different speeds and pulsations, particularly the high speed of the
vibrating rabbit ears. After we were all done being hypnotized, I put the toy
away and anxiously waited to get home.
At the end of the night, once I got home, without delay I
washed the vibrator with warm water and soap and went into my room. I opened up
the lube, which was the kind that warms up once it comes into contact with your
skin, turned up all the settings on the Rabbit, and went to town. In
retrospect, it was a bit foolish to go from zero to about a hundred in terms of
stimulation, but like I mentioned above, I came within thirty seconds. All of
the settings were much too high, though. As enjoyable as the immediate
satisfaction was, it was also too much too fast.
I took a few minutes to compose myself and gave it another
go, but this time by starting off with the low settings and working my way up.
I found a happy medium with the middle speed on the rabbit ears, which
stimulate the clitoris, and a medium high speed on the shaft of the vibrator.
With these settings, the pleasure was built-up and prolonged, making the
experience a lot more enjoyable.
Now, as for the Rabbit itself, if you’ve never seen or heard
of the Rabbit, then you might have been living under a rock. Between the Rabbit
and the Hitachi Magic Wand, those two toys have been enjoyed by many women, and
with good reason; they are powerful toys that stimulate all the right spots.
What I like most about the Rabbit is that it stimulates your G-spot as well as
your clitoris, which, for me, is the epitome of full sexual satisfaction. The
rotating beads massage the vaginal walls, to heighten your pleasure as the
rabbit ears hit your clitoris. There are eight different, and separate, speeds
for both the clitoral stimulator and the shaft, and three different vibrating
settings, which are not separate.
One issue that I have with the I-Vibe, is how less powerful
the rabbit ears are if you are pumping the vibrator in and out of your vagina.
As you push the vibrator into your vagina, the rabbit ears are bending as it’s
being pressed up against your clitoris, which actually makes it lose a bit of
its intensity. In order to get a maximum amount of stimulation from the rabbit
ears you need to refrain from doing any deep thrusting movements. This design
flaw comes from the bit of silicon that’s shaped like rabbit ears that protrude
from the clitoris stimulator, but that is as far as my qualms go.
All in all, my experience with the I-Vibe has been a
pleasant and pleasurable one. I believe that the back-story behind the toy has
a lot to do with it, but then again I AM on my second Rabbit, (I may or may not
have over-used my first one and therefore had to replace it). This vibrator
definitely gets a big “DilDo” and is highly recommended by yours truly.
If you own a Rabbit, let me know your thoughts on this
product in the comments section. Also, if you have any suggestions for future
reviews, topics, or questions please feel free to post it in the comments
section or email me at DilDosNDilDonts@gmail.com.
Until next time, stay excited! ;)
